Optimation provides expert domestic and international crating and packing services. Our crating shop is located in New York, ten minutes from the Rochester International Airport. We know how to get clients’ equipment to their destination, safely and on schedule. Services include:

Optimation offers a full service solution for your crating needs. We are able to pick your equipment up, build its custom crate and either transport it to its new location or arrange for it to be shipped domestically or abroad. Optimation can handle crating needs
anywhere from light, delicate laboratory equipment to large, heavy, and bulky production machines. Optimation’s cranes are capable of loading and unloading equipment weighing up to 40 tons; our riggers will ensure your equipment is securely moved, even in the most complex environments. Our carpenters work with a wide range of machinery and can build custom-designed skids suited for your specific requirements.
We can work with you to select the appropriate levels of protection for your equipment. For example, Optimation offers crating and packaging that protects machines during overseas shipping from rusting and pitting. We offer several different types of protection, including:
