Richard Spinosa

Optimation and two of its employees have been named as finalists for the 2019 Rochester Technology and Manufacturing Awards, held by the Rochester Business Journal and Rochester Technology and Manufacturing Association (RTMA).

Richard Spinosa, a welding apprentice at Optimation, has been named a finalist for the Apprenticeship Award.

Eliot Giebel, Journeyman Pipefitter and Pipe Estimator at Optimation, has been named a finalist for the Rising Star Award.

Optimation and Horizon Solutions have been named finalists for the Powerful Partnerships Award.

All finalists will be honored and winners announced at a luncheon on October 16, 2019 at the Rochester Riverside and Convention Center. Optimation has been a recipient of two past Technology and Manufacturing Awards, in the Rising Star and Workforce Development, Training and Support categories.

To recognize excellence, promote innovation, and honor the organizations and individuals who lead the manufacturing industry in our area, the Rochester Business Journal partnered with the Rochester Technology and Manufacturing Association to create the Technology and Manufacturing Awards in 2017.
